Your heart is the part of you that never clocks off, and it is easy to only think about it when something feels wrong. Heart Support is a simple hawthorn (Crataegus) tincture, taken as daily drops to support your heart, your circulation and healthy blood vessels as part of your routine. It is a daily support alongside your care, not a replacement for prescribed medicine, so if you already take heart or blood pressure medication, check with your practitioner first.

About this Heart Support

For the part of you that never rests

Your heart keeps you moving, working and getting up in the morning, and most of us only give it a thought when it worries us. This is one hawthorn-based tincture taken to help support your heart and the circulation it drives, built into your day as a simple habit rather than one more thing to stress about.

One traditional herb, doing honest work

  • Heart and circulation — hawthorn (Crataegus), a herb with a long traditional use for the heart and the circulatory system, taken to help support the engine that keeps you active.
  • Good blood flow — taken to support healthy blood vessels and steady circulation, part of moving oxygen and nutrients where your body needs them.
  • A clearer head — traditionally reached for around blood pressure, cholesterol and memory too, all of which lean on steady blood flow.

Take it with your care, not instead of it

Please read this part. If you already take medication for your heart, your blood pressure or your cholesterol, this is not a swap for it, and adding it on top needs your practitioner’s guidance. Blood pressure especially can be nudged too low when something is stacked on existing medication, so talk to Anita or your doctor before you start, and never stop a prescribed medicine to take this instead.

Steady and gradual

Herbal tinctures build up over weeks, alongside good food, movement and rest. This is a daily support you settle into, not a quick fix, so give it a proper stretch of consistent use.

Heart Support

Not sure where to start?

Not sure if this is the right blend for you, or how it fits with the medication you already take? You do not have to guess. Anita, the natural-health practitioner behind Guiding Truth in Nelspruit, knows the whole range and is glad to help you choose. Send her a message and a real person, not a call centre, will help you find the product that fits. She does not diagnose or prescribe, so for anything medical she will always point you to your doctor first.

Common questions

What is in Heart Support?

It is a hawthorn tincture (Crataegus oxyacantha, monogyna) with an alcohol preservative at 20% or less. The full detail is under Supplement Information.

How do I take it?

Adults take 10 drops three times a day. For children aged 1 to 10, give 1 drop for each year of age. You can take the drops in a little water.

Can children take it?

Yes, the label gives a child dose by age. Keep the bottle out of their reach and stick to the drop count for their age.

Can I take it with my medication?

Please check with your healthcare practitioner first, especially if you take blood pressure, heart or anti-coagulant medication. Adding a support like this on top of existing medication needs their guidance, and your blood pressure can be nudged too low if it is stacked. Never stop a prescribed medicine to take this instead.

How soon will I notice anything?

Herbal tinctures work gradually, so give it a few consistent weeks of daily use rather than expecting a quick change.
