You are tired all day and wide awake at 11pm. Reishi is the one people reach for when the problem is not energy but the switch that will not flip. A 50ml tincture taken to support a calm, balanced state of mind, restful sleep and steadier energy.

About this Reishi Mushroom

Tired and wired at the same time

It is a specific kind of exhausted: flat by 3pm, then alert the moment your head hits the pillow. Reishi has been used for centuries and it is not a stimulant, which is exactly the point. It is taken to help your body settle rather than to push it harder.

Filed under what you actually feel

  • A calmer head: taken to support a calm, balanced and relaxed state of mind.
  • Sleep and recovery: taken to support restful sleep and recovery after exertion.
  • Steadier energy: reached for to ease chronic fatigue and support energy that holds through the day.
  • Everyday immune function: taken to support healthy, everyday immune function.
  • Antioxidants: provides antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress.
  • Heart and circulation: taken to support healthy blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and a cared-for cardiovascular system.

Give it weeks, not days

Reishi is a slow, cumulative herb. Take 1 full dropper, 20 drops, once daily for maintenance, or up to 3 times daily when you need more. Hold it in your mouth for 30 seconds, or add it to water. It contains 20% alcohol, so add the drops to a hot drink and let it stand a minute or 2 if you would rather avoid the ethanol. Read the cautions properly before you start: reishi may increase bleeding risk, particularly alongside anticoagulants, and it can interact with blood-pressure and diabetes medication.

Common questions

What is reishi?

Reishi is a mushroom that has been used for centuries. Ours is a double-extract tincture, 50ml, in spring water and organic food-grade ethanol.

How do I take it?

Shake the bottle, then take 1 full dropper, about 20 drops. Once a day for maintenance, up to 3 times a day when you need more.

Reishi or lion's mane?

Reishi is the calming one, taken for a settled mind, sleep and recovery. Lion’s mane is the clear-headed one, taken for focus and memory. People often run 1 in the evening and the other in the morning. Ask Anita if you want a steer.

Will it make me sleepy during the day?

It is not a sedative. It is taken to support a calmer, more balanced state rather than to knock you out. If you find it settling, take it in the evening.

Can I take it with my medication?

Check with your healthcare practitioner first. Reishi may increase bleeding risk alongside anticoagulants and can interact with blood-pressure and diabetes medication.
