A South African classic
Buchu (Agathosma betulina) has been used in South Africa for generations as a urinary tonic. This tincture puts it in a simple drop.
Urinary tract and prostate
Traditionally taken to support a healthy urinary tract and prostate, and to help with urinary tract infections.
Water balance and comfort
Also taken to ease rheumatism, bloating while menstruating, and water retention, and to help lower high blood pressure.
A note on potassium
Because buchu has a gentle diuretic effect, the label suggests eating extra potassium-rich foods while you use it. A small, simple thing to keep in mind.

It is taken as drops, three times a day. Adults take 10 drops. For children, give one drop for every year of age, up to age 10.
Buchu has a gentle diuretic effect, so the label suggests eating extra potassium-rich foods (like bananas) while you use it.
Check with your healthcare practitioner first, especially if you take medication for a urinary infection, your prostate or blood pressure. Do not take it with anti-coagulants.
Herbal tinctures build up gradually, so give it a few consistent weeks of daily use.
